Cross Dresser Fined $5000 for Trailing and Touching Girl

A man who wore a floral skirt and grabbed a girl got away with a fine yesterday.

Defense counsel, Ms Gloria James, said in mitigation that the man who is single, had transvestism;  a tendency to wear clothes of the opposite sex.  Ms James submitted a psychiatric report from Raffles Hospital which stated that he “had been fascinated by women’s skirts beginning with his mother’s apparel at home.” Ms James told the court that Lim had been confused over his gender since he was a teenager. This was taken into consideration by the court.
