Principal Sponsors for the 7th Annual Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (“AFCC”)

Gloria James-Civetta and Co and Sayer-Jones are delighted to again be the joint principal sponsors for the 7th Annual Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (“AFCC”) – Australia Chapter – Conference.

The AFCC is an interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflict.

The Honourable Justice Strickland is the president of the Australian Chapter. His Honour describes the Association as follows –

“It is a unique and formidable Association – one that thinks outside the family law square, and looks at innovative ideas to improve the practice of family law and the lives of children and their families. AFCC members include judicial officers, practitioners, researchers, teachers, social scientists, mediators, and policymakers in the family law area.”

The conference ‘Let's hear it for the kids: Challenges and the way forward in Family Law’ will take place in Brisbane from 2 to 4 July 2021.
